Great classics for children: Thonet, a company known worldwide for making classic bentwood and tubular steel, furniture, now features two icon in a special version for kids.

At Christmas, Thonet presents models for children in soft pastel shades of the famous coffee shop chair as 14 K, and the steel tube chair cantilever as S 43 K.
With products from the new series “Classics for Kids, grandparents and parents lavishing the youngest of the family with a very special gift: a classic that increases its value over time, and at the same time is a Part history and culture.

Under the denomination 14 KR, the company produces the model for children of the famous cafe chair No. 14 (now 214, which outline a scaled down version of the cafeteria chair, and was conducted in 1873 by a son of Michael Thonet, company founder), is the seat of typical grid Thonet cane. Variant 14 KM with wooden seat, also available in blue, yellow, pink or white. The model for children by Mart Stam cantilever chair designed in 1931, created in the Bauhaus era, it also becomes to market this year. Looking at their website I found another “chair” if you can call it, its function is to stand and a mobile bar which I think is a beauty. We would highlight the importance he gave to the heights of the bottles and glasses, giving more depth to the former.
